Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA)

What is LPA?

The LPA is a legal document that allows a person (known as a “donor”) aged at least 21 to appoint one or more people (known as the “donee(s)”) to make decisions and act on his behalf if he loses his mental capacity.

Who can issue an LPA Certificate?

An accredited medical doctor, psychiatrist, or lawyer can issue an LPA certificate after an assesment with you.

Accredited LPA Certificate Issuer is available at AcuMed Woodlands only.
